First of all I want to thanks the club and members who nominated me for a post as director.
I have been a club member since 2004 and truly enjoy the camaraderie and friendships built in the past years.
I am a business owner of a manufacturing company in Oklahoma City with branches around the globe. We have been working Double Life Corp. since 1981, and feel I can bring to the table a bit of business experience.
Our club is now one of the very best in the nation and will continue to grow even in a slowing economy. There are some avenues we as a club can take to forward our growth and make the next years affordable form the racers.
My primary goals are as follows:
Rider Safety
New rider development
Expense management
Dialog between board and riders
Cost reductions for riders
I will do my best to serve the club based on the facts and input from club members. |

The CMRA is not only an organization, but a business. With the economy and the cost of everything going up, we need to stay ahead of changing times. I've been involved in racing 54 years and in the motorcycle business 51 years and been through many good and bad years. I have ideas that may help the CMRA stay ahead and continue to be a strong and prosperous club. I have been a board member 8 years and president 3 times. While president we put together Expert paying sprint classes and endurance paying classes, hired Nancy as a full time secretary, set up a CMRA office and have a great race track staff. I have the time to put into the BOD and will do my best to keep us the best in the nation. Please vote for the three candidates you know will keep the CMRA the organization you can be proud of.
Thank you.

I have previously served on the CMRA BOD as well as serving as the Clubs President. The future of Amateur and Professional Road Racing is something I feel passionate about and I want to continue to help the sport grow and prosper.
I co-founded LSTD in 2001 and have raced everything the CMRA has to offer from minis and motards to big bike sprints and endurance. The uniqueness and heritage of the CMRA often make it difficult to manage from both a financial, rules, and policy implementation prospective. I feel my knowledge and insight into the industry will help the CMRA to continue running the finest road racing club in the country. I look forward to again having the opportunity to represent the CMRA and help to guide its future. |

I have been a member of the CMRA since 1991. I served on the Board of Directors from 2002-2004 during which time I lobbied Pace American to provide an equipment trailer to the CMRA and worked with other Board Members to separate from CCS and bring thousands of member dollars back into the club, making available contingency money, air-fence, equipment improvements, and many other member benefits. Since 2001 I have worked as a Staff Member and have been proud to do so. Being a part of the CMRA is very important to me. I view the club as my extended family and look forward to each event and each new season.
I feel very strongly about the long-term success of our club and the responsibility we all have to maintain that success. Through the hard work of past boards and dedicated staff the CMRA has been a consistent, dependable source for competition road-racing for well over 30 years. My goal is to see this trend continue.
In our rapidly changing economy, it is no secret we face many challenges as an organization. To stay strong we must keep pace with that change. We must however do so without losing sight of our history. I believe our strength lies in the diversity of our membership and the product the CMRA provides. I believe the goal of the CMRA should be to provide a platform for amateur racing at an affordable cost and to be a springboard to a larger stage. If elected I will work hard to ensure the integrity of the CMRA.
I am running for the Board of Directors and would appreciate your support!

John Orchard
I've been part of the CMRA since 2001 and race both endurance (Village Idiots) and Sunday sprint races.
I believe the CMRA is as good as its' ever been thanks to the hard work of the outstanding CMRA staff and BOD members in recent years.
My Areas of Focus:
Financial Health: Responsible spending with an eye on future needs and challenges.
Best Product and Service: Provide a safe venue for all racers and families. Combine new ideas with best practices for continual improvement of our services to the racer.
Communication: Provide an open line of communication for all members. Welcome new ideas and review old ones.
Ensure the Future: Build strategic relationships with tracks, vendors and sponsors. Leverage our history and stability for the best terms, rates and schedules.
As good as we are now, we face new challenges (other clubs, track days, rising gas prices, etc.), and I believe it's important that we take specific steps to ensure our continued success as the best roadracing organization in the country. I would very much like to be part of the board of directors that ensures we're an even stronger club tomorrow than we are today.
